Santorini Dreaming...

As our one year wedding anniversary fast approaches I have found myself daydreaming about the beautiful island of Santorini, where we got married. 

As our wedding location Santorini will always have a special place in my heart, the white buildings, blue waters and pretty flower lined streets are just dreamy and I think it is one island that should be on everyones travelling bucket list.

Apart from being the most breathtakingly beautiful place that I have ever visited, if you are a seafood lover then you are in for a treat as there are some stunning fish restaurants, where they cook the fish caught that day. Argo was our favourite and if you get a seat on the top floor of the restaurant then you will catch the sunset.

We stayed at Dana Villas in Firastefani, which was just beautiful...

...and had amazing views, right on the Caldera.

We did have the honeymoon suite though!

We done the 3 hour hike to Oia which is little the town at the tip of the island...this is worth it just for the views whilst you are walking!

Never mind it also being one of the best places to catch the sunset, and full of cute little streets to explore. 

 

I couldn't mention Oia without telling you about Amoudi Bay...it's down quite a few steps to the little port but there are a few seafood restaurants down there that are definitely worth the trip.
