Formby Hall Golf & Spa-A Photo Diary

Our room had a lovely view over the golf course...

I went with a group of 9 for a hen party and the weekend we went was the last one before the spa closed for a refurbishment (which is why I think we got such a good deal-£126 for overnight stay, 2 course dinner and two 25 minute treatments). Unfortunately one of the steam rooms and the foot spa were both broken and there were way too many people for the facilities on offer which was disappointing.

The treatments themselves were lovely, I went for an all over body scrub and an express facial, both of which I would recommend.

After a glass of prosecco while enjoying a bath and getting ready we headed to the restaurant for dinner, which was lovely. My one negative point was that despite there being a few large groups of hen parties and birthdays there was no music or entertainment in the restaurant and bar...as a result we ended up going back to one of our rooms to entertain ourselves after we had finished eating. 

I had the best sleep in this HUGE bed and had a lovely morning relaxing and drinking tea before heading home.

I look forward to visiting again once the refurbishment is complete.
